Regenerative Initiatives in the Arctic: Local Knowledge, Justice and Transdisciplinary Perspectives

Drawing on the Horizon Europe ArcticKnows project: https://arcticknows.eu/, this webinar explores regenerative Arctic futures through the lenses of transdisciplinarity, epistemic justice and knowledge cocreation.

It reflects on project experiences of engaging across local, Indigenous and Western scientific knowledge practices, drawing on ArcticKnows pilot areas in Finland, Norway, Sweden and South Greenland. The webinar asks what regenerative economy means, for whom, and under what conditions. It considers who gets to define regenerative futures, whose knowledges, worldviews and values count, and how locally grounded perspectives can shape research and action in ways that is meaningful and beneficial for the communities involved.
